Dark Day Pétanque Final Tournament w- Hot Club of Saratoga

Join us for the sixth and final week of Dark Day Pétanque at Goode Farm. This week will be a little different with Boules starting early at 4PM and continuing on until the 2018 champions are announced. Ballston Spa's newest (and youngest) entrepreneur, Nick Furnia of Nomad Coffee will be serving fresh made crêpes all evening long and the wonderful Hot Club of Saratoga will be here playing their live gypsy jazz. Onlookers and players are invited to attend but, Pétanque players, arrive on time!  Suggested donation is $50 each. Kids $0. RSVP REQUIRED, email farmer@goodefarm.com

Tournament Night Dinner with guest Crêpier, Nick Furnia

  • grilled eggplant, grey shallot, basil, feta crêpe
  • squash + blossom, cotija, corn, and roasted chili crêpe
  • potato, tomato, leek, and black garlic crêpe
  • baby romaine & blue cheese salad
  • green bean salad with heirloom tomatoes
  • corn on the cob with three butters
  • pickles
  • chocolate & black currant crêpes, for dessert

*If you plan to bring your child, do note that we expect children to be supervised at all times. Ours is a working farm and is not, as such, "child-proofed."  Children are not to enter the barn or pool area. Children are not to enter the house (unless to use the bathroom) and must be supervised by an adult. We ask that guests of all ages kindly refrain from gathering in the kitchen or areas where food is being prepared. Join us for the fifth week of Track season and night five of six weeks of Dark Day Pétanque at Goode Farm! Boules from 5-6:30PM. Pétanque players, arrive on time! As always, we invite onlookers as well as players to stay for dinner. Dinner is from 7-9. Children welcome*. No Dogs. 

 Farm Dinner with guest chef, Tom Yoshikama

  • beet-cured salmon with herbed cream cheese
  • potato waffle latke
  • bean and corn salad 
  • tomato rubbed grilled bread with tomato salad and whipped ricotta
  • roasted eggplant spread on a homemade cracker
  • grain salad with fresh herbs
  • roasted beets with citrus, olives and horseradish

Pétanque Club Season Opener & Derby Screening

The first official Pétanque Club of 2018 (ever) will commence on Derby Day! Plan to arrive on time; Ben will go over the rules of the game before we pair up and throw some boules! We've got a jaunty playlist and a mint julep with your name on it. We will wrap up in time to watch the Kentucky Derby projected on the barn. 

DINNER MENU - Fried Chicken, Pickled Green Tomatoes, Deviled Eggs, Buttermilk Rolls, Salad, Derby Pie. BYOB. Suggested Donation $65 per person. RSVP, required
